In my past lives I’ve practiced as a mechanical engineer and brewer. For the past 8 years though I’ve focused on establishing our homestead here in central Vermont and building this business. If you’re interested in working on a design together, you’ll be working with me.
Liz
I spend most of my time practicing medicine in town. When it comes to the homestead, I’m in charge of anything annual but I’ll often get roped into building things.
Ruby
I was born into this experiment. I learned to walk on wood chips rather than sidewalks so I’m as tough as nails. I’m not afraid to get dirty or try new things. These days I help out by planting trees, picking berries, and sanding things.

I’ve been living on this piece of land as long as I can remember (does anyone know if I form memories yet). So far I’ve lived through fall, winter, and spring. I hear summer is a good time and I really looking forward to that

I’m a semi-retired 15 year old terrier mix. My role is mostly having a lay and occasionally barking at something. I love walking down to Stony Brook for a wade and eating tomatoes off the vine.
