The town of Northfield was interested in a conceptual design for the first of four phases of a path along the Dog River. The first phase focuses on the downstream stretch of the river and will be built after the 2025 removal of the existing Cross Brother’s dam. The concept includes and 1850′ ADA accessible path connecting Main Street to the river bank. Infrastructure is sited above the floodplain and plantings include native fruit trees and shrubs.
